heating, cooling, fire protection, HVAC and all other mechanical

for the installation of 4’ and smaller piping systems at the National
Institutes of Health, Bldg 11 Expansion Project, Central Utility Plant.
I performed visual inspection of each weld, maintained weld reports,
developed weld maps, and scheduled/coordinated independent inspector.
Performed take offs of material, planned and estimated crew requirements for
each phase of work to be performed. Responsible for the
installation of the mechanical systems at the TRI-SERVICE Clinic, a 40,000
sq. ft. medical/dental facility at the Pentagon. At Charleston Air
Force Base, Charleston, S.C., the C-17 Hydrant and Refueling System, C-17
Nose Hanger, and the C-17 Engine Maintenance and Storage Facility, all
pre-fabrication and weld mapping of over 6000 feet of underground 16”
stainless steel piping, 2 pumping stations, the piping associated with the
tank farm, as well as the heating, cooling, and steam piping and mechanical
rooms of the two buildings. In Oakridge, TN., a design/build nuclear
waste disposal facility, was responsible for the coordination and
construction of the contaminated resin receiving, storage, and processing
area. In Baltimore, MD., a chemical/fertilizer facility, using
isometric drawings, was responsible for the completion of a main tower of the
facility installing a wide variety of piping and components ranging from
carbon and stainless steel to Teflon lined, steam jacketed and glass lined
pipe. In Manassas, VA., a semi-conductor manufacturing facility, I was
responsible for installation of large and small bore steel and PVC piping,
using standard blueprints, drawings, and job specifications. 1990 - 1994: Ship
fitter/Welder Foreman, General Dynamics – Electric Boat Division Responsible
for scheduling workloads, job assignments, and supervising mechanics while
providing technical guidance. I ordered required parts and materials
for upcoming work. Certified as a visual, magnetic particle and dye
penetrant weld inspector. I supervised the construction of nuclear
submarine hull components, ballast tank groups and Sections 2 & 4 of (10)
3 million gallon anaerobic digester tanks. 1981 - 1990: Hull
Maintenance Technician/Nuclear Components Welder First Class, U.S. Navy Stationed
at Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA., trained TRF welders in the welding
of all base metals and joint designs associated with the Trident Program and
the Naval Nuclear Power Program, both piping and structural. Aboard the
USS Frank Cable, AS-40, was assigned as nuclear power plants components
welder, responsible for removing, fitting, installing, and welding valves and
piping associated with the nuclear reactor plants and their supporting
systems in naval submarines and surface ships. For 9 months served as
